A part of life you may experience is stress and anxiety. Perhaps you’re repeatedly feeling restless and unable to cope with whatever situation you’re facing. Or maybe you simply deal with a mental breakdown at the thought of approaching someone you fancy.
Whether you’re rich, poor, handsome or ugly, everyone deals with anxiety in some way or another that makes life difficult. One of my best friends, who is a handsome and successful lad, even deals with anxiety because he worry about not being good enough for someone. He constantly worries about not finding someone who sees him the same way he sees them.
When dealing with stress, you may encounter moments when you question what’s happening around you. You question your decisions, actions, and overall life story.
And with a little bit of stress sprinkled into your life, you can lose your motivation. You can encounter a wide range of sensations throughout your body that causes you to question your reality.
As a result, people lose their faith, their strength, and the courage to move on. They see moments where they want to end it all with an unfortunate event.
But perhaps one of the worst consequences that stress and anxiety bring to the table is the ability to hinders your progress from moving significantly further. You develop lazy habits and would rather sulk in your thoughts than write your book, learn how to code, or work on a business idea.
I’ve encounter a good range of stress and anxiety up to a point it was controlling my life. But one day I said to myself that there was no good reason to continue allowing the little monster in my head to continuously assault me.
The greatest and best you can do is first released your negative thoughts. This sounds harder than what it actually is When you have an uneasy thought, don’t fight it off. Simply acknowledge the possibilities and see will it really be the end of the world? Don’t clutch onto an idea and expand on the idea there’s no solutions to fix it.
I realize that it is difficult to do this, but trust me because life will go on despite whatever mistake you previously made. For example, when I had invested some money into a small fashion business, things didn’t turn out the way I wanted. I won’t get into the details, but I did learn some very important lessons that day.
Did I lose a pretty penny? Yes. I did. But I didn’t let that situation ruin my life. I simply built back the cash I lost from it.
Simply permit it to happen and learn from your experience. Feel what’s going on in your body and don’t clutch onto what’s occurring. Simply let it go.
The Key is the way You Breathe
Breathing ordinarily is the best way to combat any negative tensions wrapped in your head. If you’re reading this while slouched, straighten your back and take a light breathe. I wouldn’t want you continuing on unless you’ve done so.
See? Doesn’t it feel relaxing to sit with a straight back and let out a breather? And for those who didn’t do it, don’t think I wasn’t thinking about you. Just take a brief second and get it out the way.
Although this may sound strange, a reason most people feel tipsy or lightheaded when they have an anxiety attack is because they’re breathing at a fast rate.
And when an unnecessary amount of oxygen is inhaled and brought to the brain, it can easily make you lose control. So focus on your breathing pattern and simply inhale at a pleasant and moderate rate.
Truly Think About Your Life
I’m certain you often think about what’s going on in your life, but not in a way that’s healthy for you. When most of us think about what’s happening to us, we’re already in the process of either waiting in line, running some errand, or performing any activity that requires a short amount of focus.
The type of quiet time you need is the type where you don’t have to end it when it’s most convenient. It’s purposely taking time to yourself during the day and thinking to yourself. You don’t have to focus on what you should think about. Maybe it’s your job. Maybe it’s your family.
Just allow your mind to wonder and you’ll find yourself digging deeper towards your subconscious level. I know the effectiveness of this exercise because I constantly practice it.
When I feel overwhelmed or stressed, I separate myself from the rest of the world and think about my situation. I remind myself that what I’m dealing with now is only temporarily, and like all situations in life, it’s only temporary.
If you take time out in your day to think about what you have versus what you don’t, you’ll notice a burden of release off your shoulders. Try not to depend on others to make you happy because that isn’t their obligation, it’s yours. So take control of your life and don’t let others to control you.
But What About Professional Anxiety Treatment?
By no means am I medical professional in any form. But from personal experience and the books I’ve read about the subject, anxiety treatments can be treated through medications such as anti-anxiety drugs, anti-depressants, and beta-blockers.
However, although they may seem to be positive in the beginning, it’s easy to grow dependent on them. Anxiety medication can encourage drug dependence and lead to addictions you never knew existed. That’s why if you do decide to see a Doctor, here are your options.
Anti-anxiety drugs. If you’re only searching for something that provides brief relief against anxiety attacks, anti-anxiety drugs can be prescribed to you by your nearest pharmacy.
Anti-depressants give the brain a boost to let it combat mind-paralyzing effect of anxiety.
Beta-blockers, which are fondly used by performers to deal with stage fright and “weak” knees, are good combatants against physical symptoms of anxiety.

Coping with anxiety isn’t as easy as it sounds. The tricky part is allowing yourself to get ahead of the problem before it consumes you. And remember, medical professionals do encourage people to earnestly seek and abide by a doctor’s advice.
And if you know anyone dealing with anxiety, don’t be a jerk and encourage anyone coping with anxiety. By offering support and patience, it shows you understand that this state of recovery is vital for them.
Extending extra care and effort lets them know that they’re not alone in this battle. Coping with anxiety, also, as said by doctors, has no “sure fire” formula. It takes careful planning and constant follow-up to be able to really give the best support and care for people coping with anxiety.
